The Town of Crockett
For those unfamiliar with The town of Crockett, it is located in Northern California in the San Francisco Bay area, an oasis among the urban growth, bordered by rolling hills, the Carquinez Strait, and park lands.
Crockett was started in 1867 when Thomas Edwards built his Homestead, that is still here. In 1906 the C&H Sugar Factory came to Crockett and with it much growth.
The Town, now home to some 3,200 residents and families, is an eclectic mixture of craftsman to modern style homes.
Crockett also has its own Post Office, Olympic size community pool, tennis courts, bocce courts, football field, baseball field, and several parks.
From old-timers to newcomers Crockett is a Community of families, who enjoy the spirit of a small town atmosphere, complete with Town Meetings, Town-wide Yard-sales and Clean-ups, Barbecues, Easter Egg Hunts, bike races, fish fries and crab feeds, Bocce Leagues, swim meets, Plant Sales, Monarch Butterfly releases, Christmas dances, High School Football, Basketball, Baseball and numerous other well attended events.
