Veteran: American Civil War - Union, Company H of the 120th Regiments of the Ohio Volunteer Infantry.
Died of disease.

Andrew is second from the left in the back row. With some men from Co. H.

Company H, after Andrew died. Photograph shows Company H of the 120th Regiment of the Ohio Volunteer Infantry (O.V.I.), titled "Marching by Plattoon." Handwriting on the back of the photograph indicates that it was taken in Plaquemine, Louisiana, in November of 1863. The regiment was organized in Mansfield, Ohio, and was mustered into service on August 29, 1862. They were active until November 25, 1864, when the regiment was consolidated with the 114th O.V.I., and saw action at the Siege of Vicksburg and Siege of Jackson, among other battles.
