Fragments
of the
Swiss Boschŭng Heritage
From Simmental, Switzerland
Would you like to see the original Swiss Boschung's original church records? These are the sources for the original Boschung family from the actual Boltigen and Oberwil church books in Canton Bern, Switzerland. The selections are focused on the Boschung and ancillary families, in the Simmen Valley. Not all of the entries have been extracted and there are inevitably more to be found in the various church books. There are at least five generations of the Boschung family, who attended the Simmental churches and from these page fragments can be found an extensive ecclesiastical record, which is now Bushong-Boschung history. They are available, courtesy of the State Archives of Canton Bern, and their online archives, located here,
